         A series of Data Comminications tutorials appearing on QMAIL
            telecomm conferences in March, April, and May of 1989.


    The original material consisted of a series of messages posted to the
    QMAIL conferences, then edited and posted as a file CLASS.ZIP.  Since
    the I have noticed at least one other file of this name circulating on
    several BBS's, I have taken the liberty of renaming.  At the same time,
    I reformatted the original text to allow a for improved (I think)
    print-out and binding.  I hope the author will not object.

    These files do not appear to be copyrighted; however, it is appropriate
    to give credit to Phil Marcello for a major effort in preparing this
    instructional material.  My hat's off to Phil.
