    SCANTOOL - The user friendly front-end for McAfee-Programs.

    Please note.
    Important:

    SCANTOOL uses the following programs from John McAfee Ass.:
    ViruSan ù Clean-Up ù M-Disk ù VCopy.
    These programs should be in the same directory when SCANTOOL is first
    started.

    When you exit SCANTOOL,the program will write a setup file to the
    disk. If you are working with a write protected disk, make a working
    copy so that the initial installation can take place, and then put
    the write protection tab on.

    This also goes for the new disks that will shortly be available from
    PD-Service-Lage. These disks are write protected, so that no virus is
    able to write itself on your valuable data.

    At the moment, registration costs as follows:

    SCANTOOL with 1 Update  : 33.00 US$

    With your order you will receive an UPDATE COUPON. When you require
    an update send the coupon and the original disks plus 5.00 US$
    (for shipping inside europe) to the above address. Outside europe
    add 7.00 US$ for first class shipping.

    Additional updates are available for 10 US$ plus 5 or 7 US$ for ship-
    ping.
    The price is valid until July 1991. If you are using this shareware

    - SCANTOOL.PRO  -  the setup file
    - SCANTOOL.TXT  -  this is the file you are now reading
    - SCANTOOL.BST  -  order form in ASCII-format

    - SCANTOOL.DOC  -  manual for SCANTOOL to get in touch with it fast.
    - SCANTOOL.NOT  -  a text file to write tips... into.
    - EXECWIN .EXE  -  EXEC-Loader for SCANTOOL.
    - START   .EXE  -  a text file viewer for SCANTOOL.TXT
    - VIRUSPRG.DAT  -  the SCAN report file.
    - VIRSTRNG.DAT  -  the virus string file. 0 Bytes
