The Colossal Pyramid stood before the full moon in a landscape laden with legends and antiquity. At it's feet heroic battle after battle had been fought over the course of centuries. Soldiers had fallen and victors marched in triumph to their homelands, permanently setting the course of history. On this deep indigo night, with only the faintest trill of the night birds along the nile, the brilliance of the moon glistened over the endless sands, reflecting from the water to the very pinochle of this ageless fortress. On the pinnacle is a small flattened surface not visible from a distance. And it is this secret place that the two lovers had reached just after the setting of the desert sun. In this isolated haven above the world, they had been caressing for some time, lost in the magic of the timeless miracle of tender love. The endless expanse lay far below, patient and silent as if secure with hidden, ageless wisdom. Long moments passed unnoticed for the two relinquishing lovers. Tender sighs were being transformed as their passion began to reach it's height. Their hearts were pounding and the moonlight glistened upon their flushed, satin bodies now bathed in innocent perfume. Their chests were heaving and his neck could feel the rush of her warm breath caressing his skin. He embraced her with arms mighty and protective. He saw her gentle breasts as shimmering great pearls inlaid with sparkling jewels. And as the moonbeams danced upon the two figures, now hopelessly lost in fire, their passion was unleashed like impatient steeds unbridled from the corral. Their hearts became the pounding of the formidable legions of Rome. The last vestige of control dropped away. Her hands gripped tightly his strong muscular shoulders as her elation burst forth into the endless night air. With this he was ablaze. The wail of her surrender ignited his sky rocketing eros as pulse after pulse of ecstasy surged from his loins. From a little farm house in the plains of central Iowa a weathered and aging farmer pushed open the creaky front door to gaze again at his drought stricken fields. To his utter amazement the earth was being transformed before his very eyes. Lush green vegetation was pushing it's way through the soil as far as he could see. The breeze was fresh with the aroma of new growth and with a startle he yelled "Martha come quick! Look at this!" Loosening her apron she hastened to his side, her hands grasping his arm. "My Lord Harold, it's a miracle. Quick, call the neighbors!" But they were frozen in silence, gazing at the wonder before them. Trees burst forth from the soil laden with sweet fruit. Birds were settling in the limbs all around. And rainbows of fresh spring flowers were now caressing the tattered wooden porch where they stood.
