Dear Hewlett Packard


     Thank you very much for producing such a wonderful product as 
the Desk Jet Plus. I have really been enjoying using it in so 
many applications from letter writing, to Desk Top Publishing and 
Music Notation. I purchased the printer only a few weeks ago and 
am aware of the rebate for the printer. I had placed the cut out 
serial number, together with the receipt, in the kitchen in a place 
I thought was safe. Unfortunately my wife has thrown away the cut 
out from the carton thinking it was trash! Well, I still have a 
copy of the receipt and am enclosing the serial number from the 
printer. I am asking that you please overlook this unfortunate 
circumstance and will still send the rebate I had been hoping for.
