My Darling Sweet Precious Guen,


     This letter is just to let you know how much I think of you. 
I think of you all the time Guen; all through the day and in the 
evening. I think of all the letters that we have written to each 
other and how many times we have spoken words of Love. Darling 
Guen, I sincerely hope that when I have spoken with you in my 
letters about important things that you will understand how much I 
value a happy home and the loving relation between you and I. Guen 
darling, it is so clear to me that you are such a fine and 
wonderful woman. How proud I would be to have you as my loving 
wife. How wonderful it would be to have us raising our children 
together. I know that our children will be so lucky, so fortunate 
and so blessed to have you as their loving mother. I know that 
this is true. And as I think of all these things I can't help but 
think ahead of the factors that will keep our love strong, and 
also of the things that may cause little upsets from time to time. 
You and I together will sore to the heights of true love as love 
is truly meant to be. We have all the qualities going for us that 
only others could dream of. So when I talk with you about 
important things like finances and relatives it is because I 
understand how these things can effect a loving relationship in so 
many ways. i never want us to be burdened Guen. I want us to be 
free and happy each and every day as best as I can make it so. I 
truly want you to be the kind of woman that you want to be. I will 
not stand in your way. I will assist you in every way that I can 
with honour and trust so you can reach for your own personal 
stars. If we marry Guen I promise to you that I will do my best 
for you at all times. I will be true to you forever and always. I 
will be steadfast in my love for you in each minute and every hour 
of every day. And with you as my loving wife I am willing to do 
all the things necessary to bring harmony, light, and peace to our 
happy home. I pledge that I will do my best to be the fine and 
upstanding husband that you so long for.


     In thinking of  our loving home together I have spend much 
time pondering the various things that I feel are of importance to 
our future. There are two things that I have always believed in. 
And those two things are most certainly true and lifelong love and 
firm inner strength. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and the 
love that continues to grow, over time, in the unique way that 
only two people in love can share. I also firmly believe in inner 
strength. That inner strength that comes with maturity and 
adulthood. And I especially believe in the importance of peaceful 
inner strength that must exist in every adult man and woman if 
they are truly to find happiness in this world. Happiness is 
founded upon inner strength and the knowing that it can truly 
exist when we choose to make it so. Inner strength is the ability 
to do what is right in our hearts in the face of overwhelming 
obstacles and even when it may contradict the counsel of others 
that we hold dear to our hearts. No matter who we are or where we 
come from we are still ourselves. And we must be true to 
ourselves. And in love Guen we can be true to and with each other. 
We can talk of the great and mighty things as well as the simple 
and sublime. We are two people in love and we CAN achieve whatever 
we set our hearts and minds to achieve. I truly believe this. 
Because this is one of the things that love is about.  So I hope 
that you are not dismayed when I discuss with you subjects of 
importance. It is always because I have a clear vision of our 
future together; our happy home here in America with you and I 
raising a loving family. We must use our minds as well as our 
hearts to cut a trail that is our own loving path into the future.  
And in doing so our discussion of things are ever so essential. I 
am aware that we come from cultures that share many similarities 
and also some distinctions all their own. So we must choose to 
build upon our similarities and reconcile those distinctions in 
order to make our decision of marriage based on true love for each 
other as well as clear thinking.



 My darling Guen, it is your love of family, and indeed your 
family in Cebu now, that is one of the reasons that I am so 
attracted to you. It is your love of your family that I hold in 
the utmost respect. And it is the love I have for our own future 
family that I consider highly within myself, not out of boasting 
but out of honesty. I will truly commit to the family that we 
bring into this world, first and foremost above all others. 
Because I will love you and our children first and foremost above 
all others. And if that love for our family means divergence from 
the family in which I was raised then let it be so. You and our 
children come first and will be of most importance. It is our 
family Guen that I will give my future life to. And if any person 
is to challenge me on that then let them stand aside. If I am 
faced with a choice of providing  for my young one or giving the 
same money to a grown adult in need, well that uncle will just 
have to try a little harder, because you and our children come 
first. That uncle will just have to be a little more creative. 
Nevertheless Guen I am keenly aware of your love for your family 
and your strong desire to assist them. And because I always want 
you to be the woman you truly want to be I will assist you in any 
way I can to achieve the things that are important to you. And 
that includes your desire to help your family. I just want to be 
assured that our love for each other and our children will come 
first and foremost with you as it is with me and that we are in 
agreements on this subject. Take your time Guen if you need to 
think on it a while ok. Yet let me know how you feel ok? I really 
want to know. I am aware that I have spoken much on this subject 
and that by now you may grow tired of hearing me discuss it. Yet I 
have felt that it is important that we know each other well on 
this important subject. And on that on the day that we make those 
wonderful vows to each other we will be both of loving heart and 
clear understanding. And with those two things we will be filled 
with true peace and happiness. 


     Loving you Guen will be the most glorious time in my life.
