Use Add or Insert to add instruments, or Delete to get rid of them. A Pro- file (.XOR file) must be selected for each instrument. Click in the ".XOR File" column. A selector with the names of all .XOR files in the boot dir- ectory appears (All the necessary .XOR files and ED_SETUP.PRG must be in the same directory - X-or's boot directory - before running this program). The rest of the Setup parameters can be edited either here or in X-or: * The SysX Chnl (a.k.a. Unit Number, Basic Channel, etc.) is the channel (if any) on which the instrument receives all system exclusive info. * The Recv Chnl is the default channel on which the mouse plays for an instrument. If set to "--", no channel is specified. * The Swch Prg# is the Program Change to send to the switcher which will bi-directionally connect the instrument. Set to "off" if not available. * Performance Enable switches control which instruments are included in the Get, Send, Load, and Save Performance commands. * The Default Storage Path is the folder in which XOR keeps all data for the instrument. Click on the path and change it via the File Selector. Edit the System Parameters to suit your mouse-play and color preferences. Set the MIDI Switcher Receive Channel and Default Program ("off" for manual switching). Select the Performance Path (folder in which Perf. files are stored) and edit the Boot-up Comments via commands in the Edit Menu. When you're ready, select Save in the File Menu. Save As can be used to save the file under another name, but X-or always uses "XOR.SET".
