Exclusive: ClickBOOM Bringing Quake To The Amiga Or Not
(*)

(Quake)On Wednesday the 24th, Amiga Flame brought you News that ClickBOOM had reached a deal with ID Software to bring Quake to the Amiga. This appeared to be true after Quake was covered in the Products section of ClickBOOM/ PXL's web site. Unfortunately this has now been taken down from ClickBOOM/ PXL's site and so the evidence has effectively gone.

(Shamber)It's also been revealed through people on the Newsgroups who have bought Myst that there is a card inside the box mentioning that Quake is coming Soon. It is also being reported on CU Amiga's web site that the deal is complete.

According to the web page which used to be on ClickBOOM/ PXL's web site it will be CD-Rom only and will be of a high spec to be able to play Quake at it's best.

It does seem strange some of the events that have been surrounding Quake for the Amiga but this has been the strangest so far, but at least it strongly suggests that Quake will be coming to the Amiga and Soon. Lets hope ClickBOOM get the deal, it would be great to try out this well-known title.
