A utility designed to replace the Desktop Themes component of Microsoft Plus!. With this utility you can use the thousands of free desktop themes available on both Windows 95 and NT 4.0 systems without having to buy Plus!. Desktop Themes supports automatic installation and uninstallation of themes (similar to Theme Installer, below), installation and removal of startup and shutdown screens, and is also a full theme editor, allowing you to create your own themes for distribution with just a few mouse clicks.

If you already own Microsoft Plus! and don't feel you need the additional features that Desktop Themes offers you, you might like to try Theme Installer, a freeware application that lets you install and uninstall themes automatically. When you tell it to install a theme it copies the various theme components to the correct locations for you, and then creates an entry in the Add & Remove Programs list in the Windows control panel, which lets you completely remove the theme once you have finished with it.

This 32-bit unarchiver extracts .zip files. You'll need this program to extract all archived theme files.
