nhints=011 <001> When playing-back a pattern in realtime-control-mode, you first have to set the accent-level to the most right in the pattern-editor, if you want any accent at all. Then, from the pattern-playback window, control the amount of accent in realtime with the accent-knob. If you don't want any accent on a note, set the accent-slider the the most left in the pattern-editor. <002> To alter a complete column in the pattern-editor, for example to get all sliders of the cutoff a bit to the right, simply click with the right mousebutton on the label of the column and hold it. By moving the mouse to the left or right while holding the rmb, you move all sliders in that direction. <003> By pressing with the right mousebutton on the PLAY button (top right) you immediately start the pattern-playback without any windows coming to you. This is ideal for testing your current pattern. You can also do it by pressing the Right Amiga Key while holding the Shift Key. <004> If you once have set a range but you want to get rid of the range, just press on the right mouse-button in the edit-field, and immediately let it go. Then you see that the range is disappeared! You can also press the [Backspace] key to discard the range. <005> By holding the right mouse-button in the edit-field while moving your mouse, you can set a new range. Draw a box by moving the mouse and let your mouse-button go when you want to set it. <006> If you set the option 'Pop Up?' in the menu-item 'Range', a window pops up immediately after you've set a range with the right mouse- button. The window allows you to copy or cut your just marked range. <007> Use the Protracker-compatible keyboard shortcuts to copy, cut and paste a column or pattern (current column is the hilighted one): [Shift] + [F3] - Cut column [Alt] + [F3] - Cut pattern [Shift] + [F4] - Copy column [Alt] + [F4] - Copy pattern [Shift] + [F5] - Paste column [Alt] + [F5] - Paste pattern <008> If you sometimes wonder why certain actions result in a RED FLASH and nothing happens afterwords, then set the 'Show Info' item on active. You'll see that the titlebar has changed into an infobar. After an illogical action which results in an error (red flash), the infobar reports what went wrong, for example if you wanted to copy something but you didn't set a range to be copied. <009> Bla bla <010> To discard (read: put away) a range with the keyboard, simply press [Backspace]. That's the key above the [Enter] key. <011> To quickly copy, edit or paste notes (in the note column, left), you can use the [Control] key along with some special keys: [Control] + [B] -> Mark range from current cursor position [Control] + [V] -> Paste buffer contents to current cursor-position [Control] + [+] / [-] -> Transpose notes in current marked range
