This directory contains a specially modified version of SkyGlobe designed to
be run directly off a CD.  The only difference from the normal shareware
distribution version is the removal of the configuration saving feature,
since CDs are read-only and thus could not properly store the saved file.
 
SkyGlobe is designed to be fast, fun, and easy to use.  After the program is
started, simply use the handy single-key commands listed on the right side
of the screen, or click on them with the mouse.  For instance, press the
arrow keys to change viewing direction, press Z to Zoom in, or press A to
toggle the Auto-Increment animation mode.
 
For most commands you use the shift key to reverse direction, such as
Shift-Z to zoom out.  You can also use the right mouse button on the help
screen entries to access the shifted command.
