AW_FONTS.LZH contains the file FONTSMPL.STW and this file. FONTSMPL.STW was created to give me a quick reference to the appearance of various Bitstream Speedo fonts in three sizes and the attributes that SpeedoGDOS supports. No effort was made to include the extended characters or numerals. As I said this is a quick reference (quick and dirty is more like it). To use FONTSMPL.STW start Atariworks and load it in. Place your cursor to the immediate left of the font name and hold the left mouse button down and drag the mouse down to the lower right corner of the screen just inboard of the window size handle. Hold the mouse button down until ALL the text has been highlighted the select Fonts under the Style menu. Click on the desired font. You will notice that the font size is not specified - don't enter any size, just click on OK and the font will change throughout the document while retaining each of the three sizes. After creating this document I noticed a peculiarity involving the use of Superscript and Subscript. The font size is retained as selected - just shifted up or down. When using Superscript the spacing between lines will be increased. If you plan to use these attributes you may want to experiment with changing the font size for the Super/Subscript to something like half that used for the text. Feel free to alter FONTSMPL.STW to suit your needs. When you do please upload the results to Genie for the rest of us to enjoy. M.Hebert1 on Genie 70640,3556 on Compuserve
