AUDIOTRACKER 1.41 16.01.96 News and Bugfixes in Version 1.41: 1. The Audio-Parameter-Window has been changed and expanded by some new features: - If you use the SoundPool-ADAT-Interface for recording, you can either record all eight tracks or select a source stereo pair (ADAT BUS), that can be transmit to any of the AudioTracker channels. In this mode the input channel (LEFT, RIGHT, STEREO) switches the source channel, the destination track can be selected in the same way as using the SPDIF oder ADC. If you want to transmit all ADAT-tracks simultaneous, you have to select "1-8" in the ADAT BUS popup menu; the input channel has no function then. - Selection of ADAT-Interface disables the play frequency 44.1 kHz, because this clock can only be generated by the SPDIF. - Recording by ADC with one of the SPDIF frequencies (44.1 or 48.0 kHz) is bugfixed. - No more selection of output-device (DAC or SPDIF) because the audio signal is always sent to both. - Output in CHANNEL mode enables a popup menu (DAC BUS) to rout any stereo-pair (1/2, 3/4...) to the Falcon D/A-Converter (Headphone). This allowes to get up to four single-tracks without any Output-Interface (exept SPDIF) or six single- tracks with the ANALOG-4-Interface. - If you select the DSP module "NO EFFECT" and CHANNEL mode you can activate a "bypass" for each track. This guarantees a direct output without any manipulation by the level faders. This is very useful for editing your recording by an external mixer. 2. Synchronization - Now, all sync-modes are enabled also in the "ADAT mode, but there is no warranty that your system is efficient enough for example to put out MIDI time code while recording eight tracks simultaneously SoundPool in january of 1996
