Installation,

1) Firstly make a backup of all the files we will 
   change. these are

   c:\gemsys\magic\start\appline.inf
   c:\gemsys\magic\start\bar,rsc *
   c:\gemsys\magic\start\start.set
   c:\gemsys\magic\start\appline.rsc
   c:\gemsys\magic\xtension\winframe.rsc

   put them in a folder called 'old_sets' or something

   * you may not have one of these

2) copy the files 

   'bar.rsc' 
   'appline.rsc'

   to c:\gemsys\magic\start\
   
   overwriting any existing files
    
3) open your start.set file 

   find the line 

   #/resource	bar.rsc	2
   
   or similar and replace it with

   /resource	bar.rsc	1
  
   keeping the tabs (cut and paste)

   and the /appline to #/appline

4) open your appline.inf file and locate the line

   /large
   
   change this to 

   #/large

   locate the 

   /border 2
 
   or similar line and change it to 
   
   /border 1

   then the
   
   /xoff   

   change this to
   
   /xoff 77
   
   and
      
   /yoff 
   
   to
   
   /yoff 2
   
   and the 

   #/showmem  line to
 
   /showmem.

5) to test out your appline and smu simply close or kill 
   both and run them again

6) once satisfied simple change res or reboot magic to 
   see your new winframes.
