HTML-Export can convert HTML documents into ASCII format and display the resulting file in the viewer/editor of your choice.
Most tags and special characters are handled intelligently which means text formatting is usually preserved even in tables.
Although there are several other HTML to ASCII converters around HTML-Export is currently the only converter which can run as a CAB module or a stand-alone application.
