Joe, Attached is a zip file of the Papyrus labels tutorial. When my wife finished proof reading it last night, she awarded it her highest "5 anorak" rating, so I won't be surprised if you are able to come up with more exciting copy. re: > Ah! I have not exactly been overwhelmed with correspondence from the tutorials. So I suggest the award of the "memento" for the most imaginative use of Papyrus label printing. Other prizes could be given to runners up at your discretion. Clever use of mail merging might warrant a prize. I would have thought that most runners up would be happy to have made the Reader Disk. I suggest the following rules * Label designs to use plain paper or pre-cut labels. No coloured pre-printed labels from PC-world! * Submissions must be as template files with an associated text file giving the Paper Format settings. * Submissions may use colour, but should include a mono version. * Submissions may be by email of snail mail to ... by ... * The editors decision is final, purely arbitrary and depends on his mood at the time. etc. etc. > <> One thought I have for a future one-off article - With the advent of the Veloce+ board pushing more users up to TOS 2.06, would there be interest in an idiots guide to the NewDesk.inf file? Although there is plenty of information on the net about it, I have never seen a detailed magazine article. A basic article would be about a page. If it covered manipulating the icon file, it could extend to two pages, with a couple of utilities for the Reader Disk. Do you think there is demand for it? --- I replied: >I think a 1 page article would be fine, if you'd like to extend it we can >expand onto the Reader Disk with a special bonus HTML article - the >printer codes one, although obviously only of interest to a few readers, >proved popular and anything which makes the Reader Disk more desirable is >"a good thing" in my book :-) Regards, Michael High
