The recent Atari shows were a great opportunity to meet many of you for the first time and renew friendships which have to endure the rest of the year by email and phone conversations. I upgraded my software and enthusiasm level which should see me through until the Atari Inside sponsored shows to be held in Neuss, near Düsseldorf, over the weekend October 4/5th.

If you've bought this copy at the Nordic Atari Show '97, which opens its doors in Gothenburg on Friday June 13th until Sunday June 15th then welcome to Atari Computing! I'll also take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our Swedish chums for all the work they've put in promoting Atari Computing.

Please remember to check your envelope to see when your subscription runs out. We're getting a number of enquiries from people "missing" their issues only to find on checking the database they'd forgotten to renew. We value each and every one of you and we hate losing subscribers whatever the reason.

I'd love to tell you about some of the other exciting projects the A|C|G has planned but they won't let me - all I can say is watch this pace and if you have an idea for a project you think we might be interested in get in touch.
