THANK YOU for your interest in Texture MIDI Sequencing Software. Texture is one of the most popular sequencing packages available for the IBM PC and compatible computers. These demo programs will allow you to run the Texture programs and experiment with the software. The demo programs do not allow the saving of files but you can load the demo songfiles, record and playback your own compositions and experiment with virtually all of the Texture commands. Also, the MIDI interface must be installed for the program to run. To run the programs put the disk in drive A and from an A> prompt type: TX for the MPU-401 & compatibles TXK for the IBM Music Feature Card or TXC for the YAMAHA C1 (3.5" disk only) You can use the online Help facility by pressing the H key from within the program to get familiarized with the basic commands. Page up or down to scroll through the file. The document file called README.DOC is an overview or Quick Tutorial explaining ther basic operation of Texture if you desire more detailed information. It is an unformatted ASCII file so you can either load it into your word processing program and print it out or type the following command to print it out from DOS: TYPE README.DOC >LPT1 Assuming that you have a printer connected to the LPT1 port, the document will print out. If you have any questions about the program, please give me a call. Preston J. Tuchman (317) 872-7591 CompuServe 74525,46 MusicLink 31721,162 Internet 74525.46@compuserve.com Bitnet KAPLANB@IUJADE
