Copyright (C),1986-87 by Micro Media Inc. All rights reserved. Version 3.10, First Release: December, 1986 Forward Congratulations! You are holding in your hands the key to unlocking the riches that await your play in state lotteries. Instant riches are won by new lottery millionaires almost every day of the week. Last year, lottery players won more than $4 billion in prizes. The next new lottery millionaire may be you! You can increase your chances of winning by using the methods and systems contained in this program. I have devised methods that can win lottery prizes almost every other week. I want to show you how you can become a winner, too. Before I get into the good stuff about how to increase your chances of winning lottery prizes, let me give you some thoughts on what the lottery is all about, how it functions and what you can expect from it. After you have read this documentation from cover to cover, not only will you be on your way to becoming a winner, but you will better understand state lotteries! In Lotto number handicapping, we analyze the past action of the winning numbers. This gives a perspective of what is probable (or likely to happen) and what is not probable (or unlikely to happen). From my extensive study of several Lotto games, I have learned for instance, that it would be highly unlikely that six consecutive numbers (such as 28-29- 30-31-32-33) would hit - because that has never happened before. It also would be highly unlikely that all six numbers from any previous drawing would hit again - because that has never happened before. - And it probably never will! According to mathematical probability, the six winning numbers of a weekly 6/40 Lotto drawing would repeat once every 73,815 years!!! In the Lotto drawings of just one state, each week more than 120,000 tickets are bought with the numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6. Even if these unlikely numbers did happen to win, what do you think a million dollar jackpot would be worth when divided among 10,000 winners? Pattern betting is a popular method of number selection, mostly for players who lack imagination, skill and this program! There are people who select their numbers by position on their tickets, marking all the numbers in a row to make a straight line, either across or up and down. These combinations have been played on more than 150,000 tickets for just one drawing!! Another popular method that gets heavy play is the number multiples, especially 5-10-15-20-25-30. Those numbers are played on at least 25,000 tickets in each drawing. If those numbers hit with a $3 million jackpot, each winner would receive a single payment of $72. The majority of Lotto players like to play the calendar numbers, such as birthdays and anniversaries. This means that the most heavily played numbers are 1 through 31. Most Lotto games have 40 or more numbers. If you play only the calendar numbers, you might be sharing your first prize jackpot with 45 other winners. I'm not saying you shouldn't play calendar numbers, if you feel they are lucky for you. But I would recommend that you throw in a couple of high numbers to increase your chances. The prize payouts are always higher when the higher numbers hit because less winners are sharing the prize pool Most players have a tendency to bet the low numbers. This is obvious when you see consistently low prize payouts when four or more numbers are on the lower end of the range. Lottery officials on television encourage players to bet their birth dates and anniversaries (the calendar numbers). Could it be they don't want to see the jackpot won? THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND Lotto numbers move in trends. A Lotto number that is in an up trend is winning frequently. A Lotto number that is in a down trend seldom wins. A Lotto number in an up trend can have a series of hits - usually skipping only one, two or three games between hits. And often a number that is hot can have two or three hits (wins) in a row. Just how far can you expect to ride an up trend number? In the Canadian 6/39 Lottario, number 28 had a record 15 wins without skipping more than three games between any hit. But don't look for this to happen often. This was a record hot streak in that game. Number 35 had an up trend hot streak of 13 games - twice! A realistic hot streak for an up trend number would be about six hits before skipping more than three games between any hit. But many numbers have seven, eight or nine wins before taking a rest of four or more games. - ABOUT HALF OF THE WINNING NUMBERS DRAWN HAVE HAD A HIT WITHIN THE PREVIOUS THREE GAMES!! Some Lotto numbers are still hot after skipping up to five games without a win. ABOUT TWO THIRDS OF ALL THE WINNING NUMBERS DRAWN HAVE HAD A HIT WITHIN THE PREVIOUS FIVE GAMES! A few numbers can still be in an up trend even after skipping up to ten games since the last win. ABOUT 87 PERCENT OF ALL THE WINNING NUMBERS DRAWN HAVE HAD A HIT WITHIN THE PAST TEN GAMES! Lotto players who casually study the numbers often get the itch to play a long shot number that hasn't hit for 15 or 20 games just because they think it's due. But that long shot number may be overdue after another 10 or 20 games. When a Lotto number has been inactive for a long time, it is best to wait until it has won at least two games in rapid succession (that is, WITHOUT skipping more than two or three games between the two hits) before you play it. This is a clear signal of a trend reversal in most cases. Often a long dormant number may have a technical correction of one hit before resuming its downward trend. It is not uncommon for a Lotto number to not appear for 25 games or more, hit once, and then not appear for another 20 or 30 games. So, wait for the trend reversal to be confirmed. Very often a number that finally hits after a long solid losing streak of some 25 or more games, snaps back to life with a hot streak. It may hit two games in a row or skip one or two games between a series of several hits. If a number, after a long dormant period, doesn't have a repeat hit within two games, don't pursue it. Wait for a confirming up trend. Some Lotto players have the misconception that in Lotto, eventually all the numbers will even-out. This is not true. For example, in New York Lotto, number 38 has been been the first-ranked performer since 1978 - and remained the all-time top-ranked number in 1986! The longer a Lotto game has been in existence, the stronger are the trends and patterns that form. This is because in probability theory the sample space of any game of chance is the entire number of possibilities that any event can take place. For example, if you toss a coin you get either heads or tails. The chances of one or the other happening is 50-50, or one in two. Its sample space has only two events. But you can toss a coin 1,000 times and you still won't get 500 heads and 500 tails - or an evening-out. If a simple coin toss (with only two events) cannot even-out after 1,000 tosses, think how many eons it would take the patterns of a Lotto game - with its MILLIONS of events - to even-out!! A 6/40 Lotto game has a sample space of 3,838,380 events. And with only one, two or three drawings a week, none of us will live long enough to see the numbers or patterns in any Lotto game even-out!! Your most important tool in handicapping Lotto numbers is a list of the past winning numbers. The newspaper, USA TODAY, gives the winning numbers for each state's lottery the day after the drawing. You will find the listing on the inside back page of the Sports Section. - CONSECUTIVE NUMBER PAIRS Consecutive number pairs are two consecutive numbers that hit together in one game, such as 28-29. At least two thirds of all Pick 6 Lotto drawings contain a consecutive pair. Of those games that have a consecutive number pair, at least one out of four have two consecutive number pairs or a consecutive pair and a consecutive triad, such as 33-34-35. Consecutive number triads occur in about ten percent of the Lotto drawings. Consecutive quads are four consecutive numbers that hit together in one drawing. Such as 21-22-23-24. Consecutive quads are rare, occurring once in about every 100 drawings. A consecutive quint (five consecutive numbers) has not happened yet. So six consecutive numbers is unthinkable! By being aware of the probabilities, you can see that it is your advantage to play two consecutive numbers on one game panel - but it is to your disadvantage to play four, five or six consecutive numbers on one game panel. Many misguided players bet a number that hasn't hit for 17 or more games because they think it's due. Not true! Less than four percent of the winning numbers drawn have skipped 17 or more games since a previous hit. IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING BY 550% The Dimitrov Abbreviated Wheeling Systems are created to get the most efficient coverage of a group of numbers so that you get the largest possible number of prizes for the dollars wagered. If you played six random combinations of 12 numbers (and got all six winning numbers in your group of 12) you would not be guaranteed of winning anything. Why? Because your random selection of combinations would most likely contain one or more wasted four-number coverages, and you would miss covering all the four-number possibilities in the group. Let's look at the probability of winning a third prize, which is a four-number win. When you play six numbers, you are automatically covering 15 four-number combinations. So, if you were to play six random games, you would be covering 90 four- number combinations - because 6 X 15 = 90. Now, in a group of 12 numbers there are 495 four-number combinations. Using the Dimitrov Abbreviated System #37 you can wheel 12 numbers by playing only six six- number combinations - and you are assured of at least one four-number win if the six winning numbers fall within the 12. And because six wheeled combinations cover 495 four-number combinations, you have a benefit ratio of 495 to 90. And 495 divided by 90 = 5.5. So you are covering 5.5 more combinations by wheeling than if you just played six random games. This is a 550 percent improvement of your odds over random selection. So, for the same dollars you will cover up to 550% more four number combinations. At 50 cents a bet, this Dimitrov System costs you $3. If you multiply 5.5 X $3, that $3 is worth a $16.50 bet in terms of covering four-number wins. That's pretty heavy leverage!! So, wheeling your numbers actually stretches your betting dollars. These concepts are true no matter how many numbers you wheel. - Matrix Master Lotto Master provides you with the option called matrix master this option is a wheeling system that you can tailor. you select the number of numbers to use and you will be shown how many possible combinations are possible (example) one lottery has 44 numbers that have 6 draws. If you use 20 numbers there are 38,760 possible combinations. Now if you select 100 combinations Matrix Master Displays/prints every 38,760/100=380th combination. thus your chances of hitting all 6 are now = 1 in 380, hitting 5 of six = 1 in 2, hitting 4 of six 1 to 1 THE BEST LUCK You will be amazed at your change in luck once you start using the strategies contained in this program . You will win more prizes than you ever did before and you will beat the odds. But keep in mind that the odds in Lotto are extremely high, and you can not expect to win every time you play. As it is often said, the greater the reward, the higher the risk. For this reason, it would be advisable to give yourself a Lotto budget that you feel comfortable with. You can stretch this budget by pooling your money with friends to share the cost - and the winnings. Or you can play a big wheeling system once a month and skip the other drawings in between. Or you can use the money you might have spent (but didn't) on some other form of entertainment. If you have a multiple prize win, you can afford to spend more on Lotto tickets at the next drawing - such as playing two or more wheeling systems. You may be on a hot streak! When you don't win, stay on a self-imposed budget until you win again. Bet with you head, not over it!! Although this program is scientific, based on mathematical probability, I am a great believer in playing hunches, too. If you feel strongly about a certain number, play it!! Introduction System Requirements: IBM-PC with at least 256K RAM, one single or double-sided disk drive, an 80-column display Because of the wide variety of IBM-PC (r) configurations and the varying levels of compatibility with PC clones, we cannot and do not support questions concerning support of other equipment configurations. Additional memory may be needed if you boot under DOS 2.00. You can obtain a hard copy of the screen at any point by pressing the PrtSc key while holding down the key. This is also in keeping with BASIC operation. -- The program Lotto Master is completely menu-driven. This means you'll never have to guess which cryptic command the computer is waiting for: all of your available options are displayed on the screen. Although some folks prefer non-menu-driven programs, we feel it is a necessary deterrent to possibly catastrophic mistakes made by the wrong guess with this program. Hopefully, you have restrained your impatience to get started with the Lotto Master and have taken at least a few moments to scan this manual. We hope that you have fun with Lotto Master and that it earns a permanent home in your software library. Don't forget to look over the duplication policy in Appendix A of this manual. Whenever you are finished with a Lotto Master program, always exit by choosing the (7) Quit function from the main menu. The Lotto Master program changes some important tables in memory that DOS expects to be present and correct, and the (8) function restores them to their original values. <<< Starting Lotto Master >>> With Lotto Master in A DRIVE: and the system prompt A> enter A>Lotto you will get the following display. HIT CHART, STAT CHART There are TWO print outs available on this option: << HIT Chart >> The hit chart shows - when a number missed a week and a # when a number hits. this chart is a visual aid and can help you spot a trend that you or the computer may have missed. << Statistics chart >> - Times since last drawn Is the number of draws since the number was last drawn. A (1) in this column notes that this number was drawn last time. Total times drawn Is a record of how many times that each number has been drawn. Mean Mean The Mean is the Average number of draws each number takes to come up. - Standard Deviation Standard deviation is the measure defining the extent to which draws between hits are dispersed throughout the distribution in relation to the arithmetic mean. or in other words the larger the standard deviation the larger the variability of the number of hits between draws. # SD'S from mean Defines the current status of each number in relation to the mean and how many standard deviations the current number of draws is away from the mean. Negative numbers define numbers that are draws below the mean and positive numbers above the mean. Column # 6 Median The median is the point in the distribution at which 50% of the draws between hits fall below and 50% fall above. <<< Option (6) GENERATE COMPUTER PICKS >>> During the course of the program segment for generating computer picks you will be asked a few questions, each of these will be covered in this section. Here you can move #4 to # 3 position by entering 3 Note: We have found in the past that there are usually only 4 of the hottest numbers in the top 12-15 so you may want to move 2 or more cold numbers to the top. Entry (I) Some times the lottery numbers come up all cold as far as the computer is concerned. We call this a backfill week where numbers that have not hit lately come up. If you can spot a trend before the computer use the (I) - option to swap hot for cold numbers Entry (R) If you want to go back and use stats to grade the numbers instead of hot numbers use this option Entry (G) Dimitrov's systems FOR PICK 6 ONLY SYSTEM (37) TOP 12 NUMBERS 6 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (55) TOP 11 NUMBERS 26 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (41) TOP 16 NUMBERS 38 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (33) TOP 14 NUMBERS 40 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (56) TOP 12 NUMBERS 42 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (42) TOP 18 NUMBERS 42 COMBINATIONS SYSTEM (43) TOP 20 NUMBERS 100 COMBINATIONS (99) MATRIX MASTER 2-1,000,000 COMBINATIONS - SELECTION ? Appendix A After many requests to develop a lottery program we decided to go ahead with a preliminary study of lottery number systems. After determining that the pattern for some lotteries could be analyzed to give a better than random chance, we fell to the task with vigor. Many thousands of hours later Lotto Master emerged. We encourage you to copy the demo program only - Lotto Master is fun, easy to use and improves your odds in most lotteries. with Lotto Master you can keep past history data on any number of lotteries. From this data Lotto Master can generate statistics tables, frequency charts, total occurrence plots and generate computer picks based on past performance data. Using Lotto Master you can improve your odds of winning 550% over random odds. Lotto Master is a Registered trademark of Micro Media Inc, 1987. Copyright (C),1986-87 by Micro Media Inc..
