That is, using SiteWriter you will always create Templates with extension ".tpl", << which will be compiled to HTML documents with extension ".htm" on update. The advantage is, << you can use Macros to reuse HTML code and do conversions on the Templates automatically, << like special character conversion, special comment filtering... << This text is a special comment which SiteWriter will remove automatically on update. << See help "Introduction" for details. << The MAGIC KEYS let you navigate and edit HTML Tags fast and easy. << Once you start typing the initials of a Tag, SiteWriter will insert the closest match for you. << Pressing the ESC key repeadetly will toggle through ALL Tags matching the initials. << Hold the ALT key down and use the Arrow keys to navigate between the Tags and Attributes. << Once you have selected an Attribute for example ALIGN="", SiteWriter will INSERTand TOGGLE << between all suitable Attributes on each ALT+Arrow Up/Down. << You can extend the list of Attributes and Tags by yourself with the Dialog "Autotags". << See help "Navigating and the Magic keys" for details. << You will recognise that SiteWriter inserts Tags always with all Attributes. << YOU DON'T NEED TO REMOVE THE UNUSED ATTRIBUTES FROM THE TAGS. << SiteWriter is a compiler and will do this for you automatically on each update. << Press F5 to see how SiteWriter will remove the unused Attributes in this document.
