DEPICT: DEgas to MacPaint PICTure Converter ______________________________________ Double-click the DEPICT.PRG program. Under the File menu, select the Degas -> PICT option. When the file selector appears, use it to select the .PI3 Degas mono picture file to convert. That's it. After conversion, you will get an alert box telling you what the name of the output (converted) MacPaint format file is. The output file name will have a .MAC suffix instead of the .PI3. It will be created in the same directory as that from whch you ran DEPICT.PRG. You can then use Doug Wheeler's Transverter utility (which comes bundled with the current Spectre 128 software), to copy the .MAC file to an MFS format floppy. Then you can view it from any Mac draw, paint or write program that can incorporate MacPaint format pictures (which is virtually all of them). If you like this program, please send me a postcard or a donation. Thank you very much. (My Genie address is RANA; my Usenet address is rcd@mtqua.att.com.) Rana Dutt 90 Lafayette Mills Rd.
