Fixgif is a quick prog I knocked together to convert GIF 89a images into
GIF 87a, after a fashion.  It strips the comment data from a GIF 89a image,
which is what causes several GIF viewers to fall over.  Optionally, the
file can be forced to have a GIF 87a header.

No guarantees, although this program has worked perfectly with the three or
four GIF 89a files I have come across.
