Welcome to Joust !
Joust is a public domain adaption of the popular Atari¿ arcade game.
We believe it is accurate in every detail.

How to play:

Use fire button to flap your wings, thus gaining height. Height is most
important in this game, since whoever is highest when a collision occurs,
wins the joust. If both contenders have the same heigth, nothing happens.
Collect the eggs before they hatch and the riders before they mount !
Use joystick to steer your steed left and right.
Player 1 uses joystick in port 1, player 2 uses port 0.
To quit the game and save the highscore, hit <Control>-<C>.
The game will run from any drive, but the screen must be in low resolution
mode.

Hints:

Do not flap your wings too fast. Consider the momentum of your mount.
In a survival wave, do not get killed to collect a huge bonus.
In an egg wave, collect as many eggs as you can before they hatch !!

Get a friend to play with you and collect a big bonus for each wave you 
do not kill each other !
