This is the file README.TXT for DUNGEON MAPPER Version 1.0.

The program includes the files:

     DMICONS.DAT    Icon file.
     MAPPER.DFN     The resource file and definition file.
     MAPPER.RSC
     MAPPER.DOC     The user documentation.
     MAPPER.GFA     The program.  Requires GFA BASIC 3.x or GFABASRO.PRG
                    (which is available on the public boards).
     SAMPLE.MAP     Sample map and legend files to get you started.
     SAMPLE.LEG     

*** QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS ***

     1) Uncompress all files into the root directory of one drive (a RAM
        disk is ok).  Add GFA BASIC or GFABASRO.PRG to this directory.
     2) Load the program and run it.
     3) At the opening dialog box, press "Load".
     4) Load SAMPLE.MAP
     5) Load SAMPLE.LEG
     6) After the load is complete, click the RIGHT mouse button.

The sample map and legend will outline some of the most basic
functionality.  Read the file MAPPER.DOC for more information.
