Tasks, Projects & People Installation from BBS ZIP file

1. Make sure your system contains the Microsoft VBRUN300.DLL
file in your \WINDOWS, or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
This file contains Visual Basic runtime routines
required by TPP. This .DLL is available from the
	following sources:

		Microsoft BBS at 1-206-936-6735
		Download VBRUN300.EXE

Compuserve - Go MSL and download VBRUN300.EXE.

Our own Patri-Soft BBS at 909-352-2825.
		Download VBRUN300.EXE

		Other BBS systems

If you get VBRUN300.EXE from any BBS, copy it into
a work directory. Execute the self extracting compressed
file by typing VBRUN300 from the DOS promot. Copy the
	resulting VBRUN300.DLL to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
directory by using the following command.
		COPY VBRUN300.DLL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

After you have confirmed TPP is working, you can delete
VBRUN300.EXE. It is only used to create VBRUN300.DLL.

2. Since you are already reading this installation file we assume
you have already created an installation directory on your
hard disk. If so, go to step 5.

Make an installation directory on your hard drive to
contain the installation files. Any directory name
	is fine. For example:

	       MD C:\TPPINST

3. Change to that directory

	       CD C:\TPPINST

4. Unzip into that directory the TPP installation files. After this
step, these files are still in compressed format so they
must go through a normal Windows installation process.
Use the following command to unload the installation files
	to your hard disk:

	       PKUNZIP A:\TPP12.ZIP

5. Enter the Windows Program Manager

6. Run the TPP Setup program to install the software in its final format.
alt-f - to select the FILE menu item
R - to select the RUN menu item
enter C:\TPPINST\SETUP - to run setup (use your directory name)
Click the OK button to start setup

7. After setup completes, remove the TPPINST temporary directory..
        DEL C:\TPPINST\*.*
        RD C:\TPPINST

8. Examine the created Tasks, Projects & People Group in the Windows
Program Manager and select the TPP icon to start TPP.

9. Be sure to remember to look at the Quick Start help
and the Light Bulb button on the main screen for
   quick start information.
