for  Cubase Audio for Windows , the professional MIDI/Digital 
Audio production system.

Fully integrated into the famous  Arrange Window, Cubase now 
offers support for Digidesign's  Session8  , Yamaha's  CBX D3 and 
D5  and even for standard  Windows sound cards !
Together, the PC stands in the front row of professional music 
production tools.

Depending on the hardware used, Cubase Audio   offers up to 8 audio 
tracks in CD-quality as well as digital mixing. The control and 
editing of audio recordings is totally Cubase-centred.
Audio Parts appear directly on the Arrange Window and can be 
edited just as easily as MIDI parts; move, cut, copy & paste the 
audio parts - no problem. The editing of audio data is 
non-destructive, and comes with the full Cubase  undo-advantage , 
and even the copying of audio from one song section to another 
does not increase the amount of disk space required.

The MIDI Arrangement is totally parallel with display of the 
audio tracks. You create MIDI parts for synthesizer sounds or 
drum loops just as easily as an audio track to record real 
audio, maybe to capture a vocal idea as it happens.

If the audio material doesn't have quite the right tone, then the 
Session8's or CBX D5's digital parametric EQs, can help achieve 
the right acoustic result. Full channel-fader automation 
completes the mix-down picture.

Together with the limitless possibilities of MIDI-sequencing,
