WAVSPLIT.EXE v1.01 For Microsoft Windows.  

This program will scan 16 bit stereo or mono .wav files at any sample rate
extracting any sounds it finds as individual normalised .wav files. You  
input threshold and size values and the program removes the silence before 
and after.

In The demo version you can only scan 1 file and although the program 
will show you as it finds each sound. it will only save the first 5 sounds.
Normalisation and fade out are also disabled in the demo version

The registered version will sequentially scan multiple files extracting ALL
the sounds it finds, Name them, Normalise and Fade them out for perfect end
points.

Wavsplit: Works with Windows and requires a method of sampling 16 bit sound
	(Sound card or CD grabbing software). It won't work with 8 bit sound.

I have uploaded a zip file containing .wav drum samples generated by wavsplit 
with no post modifications to MIDIFORUM in section NEW UPLOADS on Compuserve
(Filename = drumwavs.zip).

file ready for downloading to your sampler.

They were sampled using a Turtle Beach Tahiti card in 16 bit stereo at 
44.1Khz from a CD.

	Registration on Compuserve in SWREG forum (ID=3694)
	Extracts first 5 sounds it finds in .wav file not 1
	Works at all sample rates (22050 ,44100 etc...)                                                                 
	Auto fade out to end of sounds added (registered version only).
