Foxfire RPG Text Productions, we make it our duty to find out everything
there is about Legend of the Red Dragon and it's In Game Modules (Other
places). We have done extensive research on the game and have come up with
the easiest and most effective techniques for mastering the game. Every
situation is described professionally. This Strategy Guide is not a FAQ nor is it a help file. It is
exactly what it is called, a Strategy Guide. It's purpose is to fill you, the
player with information on every possible portion of the game so that come
game time, you the player have every possible choice at your disposal. Ever get
frustrated when you enter an IGM and see 20 different choices? This Strategy
Guide simplifies every choice and tells you what each one does, and which
you should do depending on your stats, level, and goal for the game.
This Strategy Guide will teach you how to make billions of dollars, get stats as high as 32,000 defense, 32000 attack, 32000 charm, 32000 gems, 32000 hit point
s, you get the picture. The sky is the limit. The key is knowing your priorities,
knowing how to use each and every aspect of the game to your advantage, and
go right to the top of the charts or instantly beat the dragon. We have saved
the greatest secrets, tips and strategies, outsides of what is in the
complimentary version of this file, (Chapters 1-3) and it can be yours for
a mere $5. This is a great deal if you are a LORD player! In fact there are tons of them which most likely most likely aren't even known by the makers. These tricks are so rare, and almost totally unknown however I have performed them
and they work. This includes: How to double your bank gold every day when
hearing Seth Able sing in the Inn, beating the Red Dragon no matter what you
r statistics are (you could have 1 attack and 1 defense point and still win
without even attacking), earning 2 billion gold in a matter of seconds, how

There are many different approaches you can take as a player in LORD. First
off you need to choose between two options. Are you going to be the type of
player who:
A: Spend your time increasing your stats as much as possible to be on top of
every other player and generally is unbeatable(with 32,000 stats)
or will you be:
B: The type of player who is looking to beat the dragon over and over so they
can finish the game (accomplish the amount of heroic deeds needed to finish
it for good)
You Make The Call: are you (A) or (B)?
Depending on your choice, you will need to select different strategies accordingly. For example you
will not need to do strategies or hints that give you 32000 strength because
you only need between 1000-2000 generally to defeat the dragon. You will
not need to save up a billion dollars gold in the bank because you don't need
the Death Sword and Armour of Lore to defeat the Dragon. If you see
something that says "Strategy level (A) or Strategy level (B) or even
both after a tip it means it mostly pertains to people who
have that goal in mind. See above for examples.
The Death Knight, Mystic Skills, and Thief Moves are your best friends in
the game.
Each move is different and each carries a different purpose.
If you are a (B) person and you plan on beating the dragon more than once
you should choose to be a Mystic Skills User. Mystic Skills users have the
capability to heal themselves, shield themselves, and do the damage of two
DK moves in one move. This is especially useful in killing the dragon and
climbing up the experience ladder(killing other players). Some players that
you usually wouldn't be able to beat with a Thief or DK move, you will be
able to beat with a Mystic Skills Shatter move. (See Chapter 3 for Details
on Mystic Skills moves) It is harder to earn Mystic Skills Points, and you
may not be able to earn enough to do the Shatter or Mind Heal move until your second time around but it will be worth it. It's better to plan ahead. The
first time beating the dragon will be harder, but each additional time will
be easier and easier because you will have accumulated enough skill points.
For those of you who do not want to wait around and earn Mystic Skill
Points and just want to get some special moves (A) players- pick Death
Knight or Thief as your specialty. Death Knight is a little bit more
powerful, but harder to earn than a Thief skill point. Thief moves can be
earned by getting skill points from ranking up or giving a gem to the
thief's guild. Anytime you have the ability to in an IGM make sure you
get Skill Points until you have mastered each skill, they are very important.
Trick For Mystic Skills Users:
In playing the 5 guesses between 1 and 100 game there is a trick to win it.
The computer is programmed so that after your fifth guess the number
will be set. For example, if you happen to narrow it down say from 20-51 and you know its somewhere in there, for example, you
take the average which is 20+51=71 71/2=35.5. Round the number down always
and guess it! 35 Would be the right answer. Try It! I suggest anytime you visit an IGM or any place that off
ers Skill Points you pick Skill Points or try to get them on a daily
basis - they are an essential part of the game!
Strategy level
The Warrior's Graveyard
When you first enter, you have the following options:

Talk To Grave Digger
Search Newly Dug Grave
Check out the Stand
Flee in Terror
Enter Shack:
Ask Hag to make you a potion: Can give you experience, gold, status, or can
sometimes take away hit points. What you get is random.
Play a game with the Hag: Allows you to bet between 1 and 1 million
gold. She picks blue and green marbles out of a bag. You have a 75% chance
of not losing anything. It is best to bet half of the money you got
on you but no more than 1 million obviously and you can earn millions
slowly but surely.
Flirt with this ugly hag:
Wink requires 1 charm
Kiss her hand requires 4 charm
Smooch her wetly requires 8 charm
Grab her behind requires 16 charm
Feel her up requires 32 charm
Take her to the backroom requires 64 charm
Leave before you pass out: Exit to the main menu
Talk to the Grave Digger
This will give you general information about the characters and events
in this IGM.
Search newly dug grave
You will have the opportunity to rob some poor person in the graveyard.
If you decide to do so you will gain whatever gems or gold they have on them
and get a chance to receive a potion that can give you help or hurt you. If you
leave the person alone and do not rob him you will sometimes be rewarded
with 1 charm.
Check out the stand!
Buy Some Lemon-Aide: you can get a variety of things hear including
strength, defense, charm, a fairy, or even the ability to flirt again. If it
says you feel vigorous and should flirt again this means you can do everything
again including flirt with Violet in the main lord, and hear Seth Able again
as well as fight the dragon again. Using this you can fight the dragon 10
times a day if you keep getting it. You can only get one lemon-aide per day
but if it says you can flirt again when you drink it you can buy another
lemon-aide as well
Play a game with the man behind the counter: He'll flip a coin. If you
guess correctly you can double your bet. This is random so do it at your
risk.
Talk to the juice seller: Nothing much happens here but randomly, you
will be visited by a ghost, and it will usually happen in this part of
The Warrior's Graveyard. The ghost will then ask you to choose between
money, experience, charm, defense, etc.. It's all free.
Sign the comment sheet: This allows you to give your comments like the
chat sections in lord.
Get out before you pass out: Exit to the main menu
Flee In Terror: Leave the Warrior's Graveyard.
Strategy level (A) or (B).
Thors's Backalley Bar
It varies depending on how the SysOp has it setup.
This place can be very dangerous or very helpful! Follow these instructions and you will be fine! Let us share some combinations that will work real well. Chug something
at the bar: substance 1: 10% substance 2: 20% substance 3: 30% substance 4:
40% and 0 for substance 5 and 6. this will give you a great strength boost of
1/3 your strength. Find a whore: you need to have a base amount of charm to do
this, and when you do you get tons more charm. Take some pills: You should take
pill 6 and quit. The other's may mess you up, and some are expensive. Pill 6
will give you lots of strength!
Use the Bathroom: just take substance 2 (out of the 6 substances you are asked
to mix), and say 100%. It should say "theres nothing like a good smoke" that
will boost your hp, defense, strength, and charm to enormous levels!
Shoot up some drugs: if you say 100% to substance #1 you will get tons of hp.
And 100% to substance #5 you will get tons of defense! Always stay away from
the black rock. Purple rock say 100% for a major strength booster. Those are
some combos to use and they will boost your levels phenomenally! You will need to
experiment, but here are some rules on going about it:
1)Once you sell your weapon/armor your strength and defense levels may go back to
normal so don't sell.
2)Outside of the 10/20/30/40 combo listed above, you don't want to do that
usually. You usually just want to pick 1 of the 6 substances and make it 100%
or 50% and 50% for another substance. Here's how you tell if your substance
worked:
If it says:
You feel amorous, and your hormones raced (you gained some charm)
You feel like you can take on the world (you gained hp)
You feel like even dragon fire wont hurt you (you gained defense)
You feel like you could uproot a tree in one hand (you gained strength)
There's nothing like a good smoke!(you gained a bit of everything, the best)
You jerk to the floor ...(you lost hp and a vital stats)
The needle feels so good in your veins: nothing happened
note: most of these don't cost much money at all. After about 3 trips to
backalley you may very well have levels around 10,000. (Depends on setup)

Dragon's Breath Mountain
Here is a nice and easy way to get 2 billion gold. You will need to go to the bank in there.
Pick "transfer to the LORD account". Transfer -2 billion gold. (Make sure you have
you have no gold in your LORD bank) You will then get 2 billion gold in your Dragon account.
Withdraw all the gold from your Dragon account. Return to LORD and you have
2 billion gold on hand. This secret has been taken out of new versions
of the file however will work in the old ones.

Across The Tracks
First thing you do is find the bum, and give him some money.
When he asks how much type in -2,000,000,000 for your amount. You will then
get 2 billion gold. However, be careful because this only works in the older version of this IGM, so it
wont work everywhere.

The Graveyard
There is a big trick in version 1.0 which allows you to get a lot of money. After
you enter, it will not let you return. However, if you change your
name at the LORD inn, you can return and get more money/stats. The best way to
do it is by adding or changing the color code in your name. It makes it more harder

Axehandler's Arena
This is a heaven for high level players! You can get anything here! Once you have a decent attack and can hit for around 1000hp (sysops can
change the power of arena fighters). Check their stats and make sure your
attack number is higher then their hp! Pay Dragran the 10k the first time if
you don't think you can beat him (he can be tough depending) go inside and ENTER
the arena! Fight to the death, if you have over 1 million gold on hand you'll
automatically bet that. Fight 4 fights per trip to the arena and make 4 million
gold every trip! Heres where this gold comes in handy:........
DONT, buy the maximum (400 million dollar weapon) rather, trade
your weapon in and get the 1 million dollar one (Wans Weapon) in the kings weapon shop, or
get a cheap one from the GEAR ROOM in the arena (those are good weapon and
cheaper then normal ones with higher attack levels)
HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN GET UNLIMITED STRENGTH/DEFENSE
Type 1 from the main menu in the IGM. You'll look under the bleachers. You can
find a fairy (you should always have one in arena just in case), gems,
gold, lots of stuff. You can look 10-15 times per visit to the arena,
but each arena visit costs you 2 forest fights so don't waste anything.
you'll eventually find a card saying the password is ----- .
If you can't find a card with a password for the back room don't worry. Try
these out!
Try adding a (dk or dark or lt or light in front of all colors)
red orange
blue white Example: dk blue
black gray
green yellow
purple brown
It will ask you for the password. Tell them the password you found while looking
under the bleachers or if you didn't find one just say one of the ones listen above! Once you're in
you can buy strength, defense or hit points! 100,000 gold gets you 3 points
of any of those....so you can get 30 strength for every million translating
into 120 strength/defense(from trips to arena making 4 million each trip) each
trip there! This is why weapons are not always important. Instead of buying
an expensive weapon that may get you 1000 or 2000 extra strength points
you get 300 points for every 10 million gold. Figure this:
400 million dollars for a Death Sword Gives about 2000 attack
400 million dollars worth of stats from Axehandler's Arena gives you 12000 attack
The choice is clear. If you want strength then buy strength! Buy hp even! But the most important thing is
defense. You want a high defense so you're invincible first! With this
IGM you'll never need to buy armor or weapons again! Just increase your stats right here. And if you need
cash to do this, use the 200 mil trick, the forest, or enter the arena a
bunch of times, and earn 4 million gold per trip! Within no time you'll be
very powerful having like an attack of 10000 and defense of 10000 and even hp
of 10000!
Just get an average sword and armor and add onto them with the power up stats
in Axehandler's arena, or other IGM's like Backalley Bar (to be described
later) also papers you find under the bleachers who tell you who to bet on...
that is if the game is registered.
Strategy level (A) or (B)
Alladin's Palace
Once in a while in Alladin's Palace, you will be given a chance to bet on
fights between 2 warriors. And if you make a negative bet and lose, then you'll
get that much money. For example: if you make a bet of -2,000,000,000 gold and lose,
then you will get +2 billion gold! Make sure you lose the bet. If you do
happen to win the bet on accident and win a negative amount of gold, visit
the bank twice and it will turn to a positive amount.

Sandtiger's Bar
First thing to do is identify which version the BBS you are playing on is
running. If it is the first one that has all the bugs try the below tricks.
You will know it is that one because when you try selling your armor or
weapon, an option will not pop up asking if you want to sell it it will just
First, there's elimination, that's easy to win. Try betting negative money and losing . See
what you get. Or bet negative money, and win negative money. (This can lead
to 200 mil gold as explained later on). Always when you go in and they ask you
how many bar coins, get every single one possible, or it may not work!
Follow this plan CLOSELY!
NOTE: This only works in the old version of sandtigers bar (most common one)
How to rob the bank for 200 mill gold any time you feel like
it! There are many many ways to do this trick, but I will tell you the
most simple way to do it! When you first start out the game, just earn 1500
gold. Go to sandtigers bar, get 150 bar coins (or as many as possible) and
then go to Black Market and Weapon Market, and exchange your stick for
their SLING SHOT. Do this about 5 times or so to make sure it works! Just
keep hitting "S" to keep exchanging. Leave sandtigers bar, and you'll
guaranteed have a Negative amount of money (negative in your bank) visit your bank,
and leave. Then visit again and there will be 200,000,000 gold sitting in
front of you!! Guaranteed!
NOTE: Here is the important part. What are you going to do with that gold now?
Buy the 100 million dollar weapon and armor? No, because that only gives you
roughly 1000 attack only. Take that money and buy your strength, defense or hit points!
You can get up to 32000 stats in no time. Use up all your money, and do the 200 mill trick again and keep
increasing your stats! It never fails.
HOW TO EARN 1 Billion gold per visit to Sandtigers Bar
Get a Death Sword(it is possible to do it with a lesser weapon), go to Sandtiger's Bar and trade for a sling shot and
leave. Then go back to Sandtiger's Bar, and trade your sling shot for another sling shot, then
another Sling Shot, then a Lick of Flame. Leave the bar and you'll have over
a billion dollars in your account. Follow the file closely. Also it can be
done with a Armor Of Lore (or sometimes a lesser weapon, Armor of Lore is reccomended) and just trade it for a Lead Pan, then the 300 gold
weapon. Also you'll increase your strength by around 9000 every visit.
-=ULTRA STRATEGY=-
If you want to try something different that will boost your attack and
strength powers without robbing anything, then just do this. Get the
Full Body Armor and Wans Weapon in LORD. (It can be done with other weapons, but I recommend doing it this way). Go in and
trade your weapon in the weapon market for a "Sling Shot" and do it as many
times as you want. Keep trading in.. every time you trade in it adds the
original atack power of your 1 million dollar weapon (about 290) to your total.
Do it 100 times real fast and youll have about 29000 attack power. Do the same
thing with your armor and trade it in for a "Lead Pan". Just keep hitting
"L". The more expensive the weapon or armor in Sandtiger's Bar you trade for, the higher stats you
will get for everytime you do it. (Lead Pan is the cheapest and easiest)
Make sure NOT to go over 32500. 32761 is the maximum, but don't risk it.
If you do anymore, you'll go into negatives and you'll have to start all bring it back into the positives.
-=Newest Strategy=-
This is for the very brand new version of Sandtiger's Bar. Although
there is no tricks to earn yourself gold, or even negative gold, there
still exists a black market where stats can be bought for cheap. About
a million dollars gold on a low level should be enough to purchase
the stats you need. Take a loan from a friend or try to raise money from
an IGM if you are a low level player. Don't let anyone tell you that
the new version of Sandtiger's Bar won't help ya! It's setup so the lower
the level you are on, the lower the prices will be when you can purcahse
those statistics from the black market. True, at level 12 it isn't really
worth 10 milion dollaras to buy 1 strength point, but at level 1, 300 gold
should be good for 1 strength point.
-=Alternate Strategy=-
Some bbses get wise to the fact that there are so many tricks like this for
Sandtiger's Bar, and therefore they installed a more rare, newer version of
Sandtiger's Bar. The difference between the two was described
(the new one when you talk to sandtiger it will say like "buy him a drink"..
the old one just had [B] [S]). For the new one, the bank trick and the other
tricks don't work but some things still are good about it. When you're on
a high level, go there, and depending on the way your sysop has the level set,
it still may be 300 gold for a hp or for a defense/strength point. If so, you
can just purchase your stats for that cheap. 200 mil gold will get you 30000
attack, defense and hit points. 1 million gold should be enough to for stats
that will allow you to beat the drgaon. If the prices for the strength/defense/charm etc.. points go up
depending on your level. Transfer all your gold to a friend, and beat the
dragon. Start over on a low level, and after your friend transfers the gold
back, go there and buy anything you need for low prices. Also you can buy
skill points, forest fights, and even user fights! You should buy a lot of user fights for cheap and
just kill everyone on the bbs. The sky is the limit with this trick!
You'll be unstoppable!
-=Second Alternate Strategy=-
You will need to try this: If you do have the second version of Sandtiger's Bar
as mentioned above, sell your weapon and armor in lord and enter Sandtiger's Bar.
Go to the black market and sell your Nothing! (armor) and Fists (weapon) for
over 2 million gold each. You can accumulate gold by doing this repeatedly
or everytime you get enough gold trade your weapon or armor in repeatedly
for a more expensive armor or weapon and then selling it back. Everytime you
resell it you keep the attack/defense strength it supplied you with thus
accumulating up to 10000 stats a trip!
-=Low level strategy=-
Be on a low level. You can stay in the inn and you can't get attacked. Also
people will tend to not be scared of you if you're on a low level,
and will attack you and get a surprise. You'll earn a lot of experience there.
The importance of being on a low level is that you can kill people who
have higher stats then you by using special moves. If your attack
power times two is above or equal to their defense power you have
a good chance of killing them with a special move. See Special Move
Strategies.
-=Fairy Trick=-
This will just about always work. Go in the black market at
Sandtiger's Bar. Go to forest specialties and buy a fairy. And then the words
"fairy" will not be able to be seen from that menu beause you already have
one. Press "f" anyways! Do it once or twice and finally it will say
"you can't afford this" leave and you'll have around -1.3 billion gold. Again,
go to your bank twice and on your second visit you'll find yourself with 200
million gold. This will work every time. Anyways, in elimination, if you get 3rd place there is a chance you'll get
negative gold coincs. Do the same thing. Anytime you get negative gold do the bank
trick that was just described and get 200 million pieces! Try to find as many ways as
you can to get negative gold. Once you get it, visit the bank twice
and it will turn to +200 million gold.
