I discovered a program by Peter da Silva on one of the older disks I own. The program was called Gauge and did the following: it opened a window, drew an empty/full bar and printed E and F at the bottom and the top of the window. Well, well, but what did it display? I suppose Gauge was to display the current memory usage statistics, very similar to the full/empty bar Workbench displays in the root directory. But the display Gauge took care of did not change even if I started CygnusEd and loaded a big file. Has CygnusEd strange bugs or was Gauge a bit "out of order"? I suppose the latter is true. For this reason, and because of the fact that I haven't programmed any tool with dynamic graphical display yet I have reprogrammed Gauge. It has some additional features, and it works... Olsen
