Our (Toxic Zombies) UNDEAD demo was actually reviewed in the UK computer magazine PC FORMAT in August of 1993. Bart of Witan was kind enough to send me a copy of the magazine which contained the article. Here is what it said: UNDEAD DEMO Public domain by The Toxic Zombies Available from PCIUG BREAKING THE MOULD COMPLETELY, this demo from The Toxic Zombies doesn't have a single hard-core rave track in its collection of three tunes. Instead, the programmers, obviously a chilled couple of dudes, have opted for mellow ambient tracks to soothe your aching, hard-core blasted brains. The music on this demo is enjoyable, well constructed and original, but is at odds with the accompanying graphics and the scrolling text. The title and the name of the programming crew give the nature of the demo away; the graphics are dark and dreary, featuring zombies and skeletal figures. The scrolling text explores a confused philosophy regarding death and dissatisfaction with life. It's great to see something original, rather than the standard hard- core music and psychedelic graphics, and this is worth checking out if you are tired of the flood of rave demos currently swamping the scene. Minimum system: 640k; VGA; 386 PC FORMAT RATING 69% Picture of the Zombie in the demo with the following quote by PC FORMAT: "It's all doom and gloom with the Undead Demo from the Toxic Zombies.
