Many of the programs on this disk are shareware. You are free to try each program for a limited amount of time. If you are satisfied, and want to continue to use the program, you are required to register the program by sending a specified amount of money directly to the author of the program. In many cases the author will send you the most up to date version of the program and a printed manual. Please check the individual files for specific information. Please help support shareware by contributing to these authors. They make discs like this possible. ============================================================================= To use this disc, change drives to the CDROM drive and type VIEW in the root directory of the cdrom drive. The VIEW program will display directories on the disc. When you hit the ENTER key you change to that subdirectory. The view program then displays a list of files in that directory. Hit ENTER again and the program will automatically decompress the file onto your hard disc. To run the programs, view the program documentation with the VIEW program, which will list text files. Type: VIEW *.txt to view text files. (See your DOS manual for DOS filename conventions.) Have fun! :-) ============================================================================= For windows programs compiled with Visual Basic, the run time library is required. Copy the file vbrun100.dll in the windows directory to your windows directory. ============================================================================= Due to the large number of files on this CDROM, the Giga-Games CDROM compilers cannot possibly attempt to validate the proper operation of the various programs. When a program bug is reported, immediate action is taken to either correct the error or remove the offending program from the CDROM. Still, users must understand that all programs are offered AS IS, and the archive maintainers specifically disclaim any liability should these programs malfunction or cause damage, incidental or otherwise. When testing ANY new software, be certain that all information stored on disk is backed-up before you start, so that you can recover if files are damaged or erased. This is particularly true if you have a hard disk, in which case malfunctions can be spectacularly disastrous. ============================================================================= Walnut Creek CDROM is an approved vendor and associate member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP).
