NCSA COLLAGE V1.0.1 This is the final release of NCSA Collage. This program has many of the features of NCSA Image, NCSA PalEdit, and NCSA DataScope. Additionally, it has ability to perform the functions collaboratively, that is several scientists can share the same data space and exchange ideas and information. There are several files in this distribution. Collage1.0.1.sit.hqx contains the binhexed and stuffed application compiled for use with a machine containing a math co-processor. The file Collage1.0NoFPU.sit.hqx contains the version of the program that does not require a math co-processor. The docs are in CollageDocsDraft.sit.hqx. The docs are not final yet. The sample files needed for the tutorial are in the Samples.sit file. KNOWN BUGS The dimensions of the HDF items are no longer displayed in the HDF Picker window. This was done intentionally to improve the speed parsing the HDF file so the picker display could be constructed. Unless this approach meets with disapproval, I will trash the dimensions portion of the HDF picker display altogether by the next release. FIXES: v1.0.1 The problems with computing interpolated raster images has been fixed. There was a problem with color table activation that has been fixed. The screen flashes less when you select windows. Send any bug reports or suggestions to: Tom Redman University of Illinois National Center for Supercomputing Applications 152 CAB 605 E.
