A program made by myself to solve for constants in partial fractions. It solves any PROPER PARTIAL FRACTION (PPF) with no multiple roots, even with complex roots. It can also solve PPF with ONLY a pair of multiple roots. Limitation: NO MORE THAN A PAIR (TWO) MULTIPLE ROOTS. ONLY WORK IN 48G SERIES NOT 48S SERIES. Usage: 1) Enter the function at the numerator (top) using the '' (algebric) button. Hit ENTER. 2) Enter roots of the denominator (bottom) in matrix form using [ ]. Hit ENTER. 3) Press the program PART5. 4) Wait. Ha! Ha! It might take up to 15 seconds if more than 3 roots. 5) Walla! The constants will appear in order of roots in the matrix. EXAMPLE: 3x+4 A B C ------------- = ------- + ----- + ----- (X+1)^2 (X+3) (X+1)^2 (X+1) (X+3) 1) Press '3*x+4' ENTER. 2) Press [-1 -1 -3] ENTER. 3) Press PART5. 4) Wait 7 seconds. 5) A=0.5 B=1.25 C=-1.25 NOTE: If the variable in the numerator (top) is not "x", you MUST change it to "x". If there is a pair of multiple roots for the denominator (bottom), you must enter them first in the matrix. For example, the root matrix above should read [-1 -1 -3] NOT [-1 -3 -1] OR [-3 -1 -1]. If you do not know the roots, use SOLVE---POLY (Green #7). The roots will appear in matrix form if you use this function.
