Number Pal v1.0 Programmed by: Kevin Blanchard Number Pal is a program for younger children just starting to learn to write and learning numbers. It shows big numbered buttons. When the child clicks on a numbered button, the name of the number appears in a space at the bottom of the screen in big bold letters easy for a child to see and also is a fun way for them to learn to spell their newly learned numbers. Not only does clicking the numbered block show the numbers name but then shows that amount on the top of the screen in a group of colored shapes. It shows not only that a number has a name but that it also has a word. Plus it teaches children to use a mouse, in fact helping motor and cordination skills. To use Number Pal you simply add it to your windows menu and click on the icon (included) or just use the windows run command. You use the mouse arrow to click on the numbered block, which then displays the numbers name and a group of colored shapes.
