Program: SIDETRIS

Program Description:

  SIDETRIS is a variant of the good old TETRIS scheme, with one or
two innovations from PC Solutions. You need VGA graphics minimum for
this game. In SIDETRIS I turn the play area on its side, to make maximum
use of the screen. We have also implemented smooth animation, and nice
graphics, unlike many other programs!
  HINTS: If you get an 'overhang' gap, you can sometimes tuck in a piece
of the rights shape, with a deft movement at the last moment - 
experiment!
The higher the score, the more likely you are to get rogue pieces.
Rogue pieces do not occur when the screen has pieces to the left of the
half-way mark - so try to keep a high column on the top/bottom edge -
this prevents rogues!
