============================== README.TXT ================================ Welcome to the Kirk's Comm Disc II CDROM! ========================================================================== Quick Start Instructions: Windows 95: Insert the cdrom into the cdrom drive. This will automatically start a CDROM browser program called WinView. Windows 3.1: Go to "File" menu under program manager and choose Run. At the Command Line box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive. This will install a group folder with icons for this cdrom. To start the CDROM browser program, double click on the icon called WinView, or run the program w16view.exe located at the root directory of the CDROM. MSDOS Quick Start: Change to your CDROM drive and type "view". These programs allow you to page through index files, browse through directories on the CD, view documentations and uncompress/install the program(s) you want onto your hard disk. Electronic Product Catalog (MS Windows): --------------------------------------- To install Walnut Creek CDROM's Electronic Catalog, choose the RUN option from the FILE menu under Window's Program Manager. In the Command Line box, type in d:setup_a (Substitute d with the letter that identifies your CDROM drive if it's different from this example) ========================================================================== Shareware This disk contains many shareware programs and images.
