Architect: Anne F. Oliva I'm sending a city for your consideration, mostly because I want to show it to somebody besides my husband (who's biased). Pompei (sp?) is a city built around - duh - a volcano. It's powered entirely with wind and a solar plant. There are occassional power shortages , but not enough to make anybody move out. The happy sims of Pompei love their city -- as long as they pay proper homage to The Supreme One. No one discusses (in public) the virgin sacrifices and the high sulfur levels. The high priests (and priestesses, thank you very much) live in huge mansions on the top ridges of the volcano. Beside them are their own office buildings -- although tourists can gas up and get a slurpee at the mile-high Mapco store.
