We were closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's, partly for a vacation and partly to move our office. We have 40% more room, a nice lake out back, and our own flock of ducks. We will hold a training session on the third Saturday of each month. Classes will focus on specific needs of computer users and will range from beginner to advanced. Whether you are a first time user or a power user we will have a class for your specific interests, and training will be presented by the experts who create Henter-Joyce products. Class time is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and The fee is $50 for the day. Class sizes will be kept small, so please make a reservation for the date you desire. BRIEF NOTES ABOUT H-J PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT JAWS for Windows is proceeding extremely well. A brochure is available to highlight the features and benefits, and a formal announcement about this new concept in screen access will be coming soon. We will be presenting JAWS for Windows at many trade shows and conventions, so stop by for a demonstration. WordScholar, a multi-sensory software tool for persons with learning disabilities, will also be highlighted as we innovatively address the needs of persons with a variety of disabilities. A new release of JAWS 2.3 for DOS will be available in February. The major improvements it offers are described in the January 1994 issue of the H-J Technical Bulletin that accompanies this newsletter.
