MULTI MERGE facilitates adding, editing, deleting, sorting and printing
information for later merging into your wordprocessing merge documents.
Data can be sorted by name, company, zip or two key fields that you
tailor to your own specifications.  It is not a program meant to replace
a word processor, but rather to enhance it.
 
With MULTI MERGE, you can manipulate your list, create your merge list,
and then use your word processor to merge the list with the word
processor's merge document.  The program is easy to use and completely
menu driven with no new programming language or command structure to
learn.  You do need to know your word processor's merge functions and
DOS to operate the program with facility.
 
QUIKSORT is a high performance PC sort/merge utility designed for
optimum processing of large data files.  QUIKSORT can sort an unlimited
number of files and can merge up to sixteen files, with the capability
for handling file sizes of up to 32 megabytes.  QUIKSORT allows an
unlimited number of key fields and many different key field types.
Records may be fixed or variable length format and record lengths may be
up to 32 kilobytes.  Extensive output record formatting is supported.
 
QUIKSORT outputs records, key fields, pointers, or key fields and
pointers.  Even wild card characters are allowed in file names.
QUIKSORT sorts Btrieve and dBASE III files and also provides
high-language interfaces for a called subroutine.  An outstanding
sort/merge utility, QUIKSORT comes with extensive documentation.

Special Requirements:  A word processor which can merge an ASCII list
file with a merge document, 512K RAM, two floppy drives.  For
MULTI-MERGE, an 80-column Epson-type printer is optional.
