SPLOT plots x-y data to the screen and dumps the screen to a printer.   
The program reads plot commands from ASCII text files specifying plot   
parameters such as type of axes.  Up to four sets of data can be plotted
on the same plot, with each set containing up to 1,000 data points.  On 
most PC's, the program detects the type of graphics card and uses the   
highest resolution available.                                           
                                                                        
X and y axes are linear unless commands specify log or cumulative normal
probability axes.  A "POLY m" generates mth degree least squares        
polynomial fit of the last read data set; the generated data counts as  
one of four possible data sets.  Keyboard command input permits         
enhancement of polynomial curve fitting.  Other commands deal with      
symbols, scatter plots, spikes and histograms.  Label text can be
