                              ===========

        After  viewing  the  opening  screen,  BowlStat  will  display  the
 following prompt. Select one of the three responses below:

                   º League Name or 'Enter':                º
                   ÈÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍÍͼ


 1) A new database filename       - To define a new league,  enter  a  name
                                    not currently found on  disk.  BowlStat
                                    will  alter  the Main Menu so that only
                                    the  league   SETUP   option   can   be
                                    selected.

 2) An existing database filename - Enter the name of an existing  database
                                    filename.  BowlStat will load the team,
                                    bowler and default data for the  league
                                    and  enable  all  options  on  the Main
                                    Menu.


  3) The 'Enter' or 'Return  key  - With with no database filename entered,
                                    BowlStat   will  search  the  disk  for
                                    valid league  database  names.  If  any
                                    are  found,  they will be placed in the
                                    FILES  MENU  window.   Use  the  cursor
                                    arrow  or  +/-  keys  to  move the menu
                                    cursor to the desired league  name  and
                                    press  the  'Enter'  or  'Return'  key.
                                    BowlStat  will  load  the  team, bowler
                                    and default data  for  the  league  and
                                    enable all options on the Main Menu.
