                        PEROT ORIENTED BBS GOES ONLINE


Seabrook, TX -- July 6, 1992 -- Anyone with a computer, a modem, and an 
interest in the 1992 Presidential Election can now go online to express
their views and obtain information about their candidate starting Wednesday,
July 8, 1992. Access is available 24 hours a day, free of charge, 7 days a
week at (713) 326-ROSS [7677].

Each candidate (Perot, Bush, and Clinton) have their own message areas for
supporters to communicate and discuss ideas. In addition, there is an "Open
Debate Forum" for all supporters to ask questions and state opinions. All
message areas follow the "QWK" format which enables users to download all
messages, read and respond to them off-line, and then to upload the 
responses.

Each candidate also has their own file area for callers to download files.
Users can download speeches, position papers, Windows wallpaper, contact
lists, graphics, etc. In addition, there is a special file area of utilities
such as off-line mail readers, communications packages, and politically
oriented software.

To go online with the AMERICANS FOR PEROT BBS, please follow these
instructions:

     * Set your communications software to use the following parameters:

       Baud Rate          :2400 or 1200
       Data Bits          :8
       Parity             :None
       Stop Bits          :1
       Duplex             :Full
       Terminal Emulation :ANSI-BBS

     * Set your communications software to dial (713) 326-ROSS [7677].

     * Once connected to the BBS, answer all questions and follow the 
       directions.

If your communications software cannot support this configuration, call or
write to have a pre-configured communications package sent to you.

Members of the news media and party affilites should call to arrange special
access to the BBS.
