Thanks for taking the time to read this file.

The program that comes along with this read me file is a personal banking and finance program. It is designed to allow you  to keep your finances up to date, with simple and easy input of your transactions, including repeated payments (standing
orders/direct debits).

There are numerous functions which are designed to make the program easy to use. I have tried to avoid all the tedious fields which many programs ask you to put in because I do not find them at all useful. What I want to know, and I hope you, is what goes in, what comes out, and how much do I have left!

Instead of continuing to read this file DOWNLOAD the program  now onto your Psion and get organsied. My email address is given below.



Installation

In order to install this program use the self installation (SIS) file and let the computer do the work. The relevant files will be placed in a folder called "EZBank" in "system\Apps". In order to get to the folder "system\Apps", go to the System screen, press [Menu], and the go to 'Tool-Preferences'. From here check the 'Show system folder'. Now go back to the system screen and navigate your way to "system\Apps". You should now check the 'Extras' bar where you should see the moneybags icon displayed. If this is not displayed then you may have specifically set the properties of the system folder to 'hidden' rather than using the [Menu]-tools-properties dialog to hide the system. If this is so then alter your settings."



EZBank Files

Within the EZBank folder you should have the following:
EZBank.app
EZBank.aif
EZBank.mbm
EZBank.hlp
EZBank.snd1
EZBank.snd2
EZBank.snd3
EZBank.snd4

REVO USERS: will have EZBankR.mbm instead of EZBank.mbm, as well as the EZBank.tbr file.

You wll have two other files placed on your desktop on installation:

	Upgrade - upgrade to the latest version of the program from v3.2
	Uninstall - removes all files if you do not want to use this program



First Use

When you first start using this program you will be presented with a blank account sheet. You will need to create your first acount. If you press menu you will see that only two options are open to you. Firstly, you are only able to create an account, and secondly, you can exit the program. Once you have created the new account the other menu options will appear.

REMEMBER: spaces are not allowed in the account name

If you do decide to use this program you should be aware that I can accept no responsibility if the program decides to crash on you, and you lose all your data. To date, I do not know of any bugs in the program which may do this. So remember, always back up your files regularly.
