You must exit Windows before running this disk. 2. To run the browser perform the following commands at a dos prompt: C:> D: (ENTER) D:> apogepic (ENTER) (if d: is not the drive letter of your CD-ROM then replace d with its drive) 3. Some of the programs on this disc require a premium amount of conventional RAM to work. Try using a minimum CONFIG.SYS configuration to get games to run. More details on this will follow. PLEASE NOTE: The browser is unloaded before each game is run and therefore does not use precious RAM. 4. Quantum Axcess will not provide technical support on specific games. Please contact the respective technical support for each game. Some hints are provided below. An example of a minimum configuration is a config.sys file like this: DEVICE=\DOS\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=\DOS\EMM386.EXE 4096 RAM DOS=HIGH,UMB DEVICEHIGH=(Your CD-ROM Driver) (DO NOT EDIT YOUR CONFIG.SYS FILE UNLESS YOU 1) BACK IT UP FIRST and 2) KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT THIS STUFF) Some easy ways to have multiple boot options are: A. if you are using DOS 6.0 or higher try using a boot menu. (TYPE: HELP MENUITEM for assistance) B. another alternative is to make a boot diskette with a min configuration. 5. There are known problems with some games and certain hardware configurations. If you experience problems, please contact Epic or Apogee re: their games.
