The software products listed in The Directory represent quality programs exclusively marketed and distributed by IBM, which provide low-end functional capabilities at attractive, competitive prices. Certain programs in the Directory can be purchased in groups at prices substantially lower than those of individual products. Personally developed software has on-line documentation and generic packaging that make it possible to keep prices low.Each program listed in The Directory contains a minimum configuration statement. The first issue of The Directory features 36 programs in the categories of education, entertainment, personal productiv- ity and business. Prices begin at $14.95, and over half the products are priced at $19.95 or less. The Directory is available at no charge until December 31, 1984, thereafter by subscription. A one-year subscription is $10 for three issue; single issues are $4.
