The following is a message from George Warren, the SYSOP of the Illinois State University RBBS-PC in Bloomington, Illinois. Over the Thanksgiving break, 1984, Illinois State University suffered a theft of 23 IBM-PC computers and monitors and six printers from a student laboratory. The computer serial numbers were 0717326, 0787632, 0844376, 0860792, 1152959, 1172565, 1172614, 1172773, 1172780, 1172834, 1172991, 1173025, 1173045, 1173051, 1173086, 1173092, 1173105, 1173147, 1281993, 1282019, 1282171, 1283459, and 1283466. The monitors were IBM monochrome with serial numbers 0062429, 0079121, 0105249, 0109377, 0273192, 0275182, 0275185, 0275187, 0275193, 0275206, 0275210, 0275212, 0275222, 0275257, 0275384, 0275400, 0275403, 0275413, 0275495, 0275528, 0275531, 0275532, and 0275534. The printers were Okidata, model 93 with serial numbers 102716, 102717, 102719, 102722, 102723, and 102724. If are aware of the location of any of this equipment you should contact your local police.
