Intel Executive to Open Seventh Annual PC EXPO in Chicago,
Oct. 27-29, Industry's Premier Midwest Computer Show

(Fort Lee, NJ, Aug. 31) -- David L. House, senior vice president of
corporate strategy at Intel Corporation, will deliver the keynote address
which opens the Midwest's premier computer trade show and conference, the
Seventh Annual PC EXPO in Chicago, Oct. 27-29, at McCormick Place North in

Computing," in his speech.

Mr. House will discuss how the current evolution of information systems --

interfaces, powerful computer hardware -- will enable individuals to meet
increasing demands for faster and more effective communication.

"The 1990s will see the computer evolve from a tool for individual
productivity to a tool enabling cooperation among groups of people," said
Mr. House. "Attendees at PC EXPO in Chicago will be able to hear some of
Intel's ideas during the keynote, and then learn more about the products
and trends that are driving this evolution in the seminars and on the PC
EXPO show floor."

The keynote will take place at 9 a.m., on Oct. 27, in McCormick Place
North. The exhibit hours are: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., daily.

Intel's advanced microprocessor development. In 1987, he was promoted to a

Before joining Intel, Mr. House worked in management positions with
