That's what a report on CNN today seemed to indicate ... they reported that attempts to open the antennae had been all but written off and efforts were now turning to rewriting the system software for improved throughput from the low-gain antennae. Anyone care to shed some light on the subject ? - Jonathan -- Internet: musjndx@gsusgi2.gsu.edu Fidonet: Jonathan Deitch@1:133/411.7 jdeitch@gisatl.fidonet.org Bellnet: 1 - (404) - 261 - 3665 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Atlanta 1996 !! | Play Pinball !! | Don't Panic ! | "I hate it when I can't --------------------------------------------------| trust my own technology!" Am I right? Yep ... you simply turn it around and use it to capture the *outward* solar wind of your destination star to slow you down. - Jonathan -- Internet: musjndx@gsusgi2.gsu.edu Fidonet: Jonathan Deitch@1:133/411.7 jdeitch@gisatl.fidonet.org Bellnet: 1 - (404) - 261 - 3665 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Atlanta 1996 !! | Play Pinball !! | Don't Panic ! | "I hate it when I can't --------------------------------------------------| trust my own technology!"
