These are two display typefaces that I quickly built for poster use. As such, they are not really complete, but they do have all caps and smalls. Only the basic punctuation characters are there, however. I just didn't need to say anything like #~*)<. Sorry, but power fonts like Barnum (circus/party like) and Advertise (bold and commanding) just shouldn't be used for body text anyway. Right? Hope you can get some use from these freeware fonts. -Bob Wenham 9 July, 1990 I converted these two fonts for Pagestream. Advertise converted easily, but Barnum was harder. Many of its characters are quite thin so it is impossible to show them correctly on the screen. Also, it was necessary to increase the spacing between letters so the screen could be read on the screen, which also increased the spacing of the printer font. Next, there are small white spaces printed in some horizontal rectangles (like "f" and "t") which I do not know how to fix. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks, R. Walshe (GENIE).
