DROMEDARY SYNOPSIS p PLEASE NOTE!!!!! This is not a synopsis of the game you just downloaded! This file is meant to give you an idea of what this game WILL become after I finish programming it. This text file is primarily for the benefit of those who aren't familiar with the 8-bit program M.U.L.E., on which Dromedary will be based.... q Up to four players compete to make the most money and ensure the success of the colony in the choosen amount of time. Acres of land are distributed, bought, and sold. Each acre of land can be developed by the players. They can farm, collect energy, or mine for Dromedary ore or Krysl, a rare mineral. This development is possible throught the use of Dromes. The Dromes are outfitted for various tasks and taken out to the acres. A player's turn consists of many options. The player can buy a Drome, outfit it for a task, and take it to their acre. They can hunt skivits (the game you're playing). They can give other tasks to pre-bought Dromes. They can sell land. They can asses land for value (is there Krysl there). Finally, they can gamble for extra cash. After each player has had their turn. production begins and each acre produces an amount of food, energy, ore, ect. This 'production' phase spans a month. Then comes 'Auction Day'. Each 'produce' is auctioned off. Each player usually is strong in one commodity and weak in others. Players can sell excess commodities and buy ones they need, either from other players or the settlement. Then comes a summary screen, showing how things are going for each player and the colony as a whole. The player making the most money in the amount of time is declared the Grand Poohbah!
