GEMvelope! Demo README file

This is the latest demo version of GEMvelope, the envelope printer for
Atari ST/TT computers.  This demo is fully functional except for the
following:

- You cannot Load or Save addresses and setups.
- Various Alert boxes are added to describe features and slow operation.
- When POSTNET codes are enabled, a message is printed under the address.
- Printing merged addresses are limited.

The complete manual is in the file MANUAL.TXT.  Since setup loading
is disabled in this demo version, following are the Merge setups for
two popular ST databases.  These may be entered manually; in the
registered version, they may be loaded from disk.

Tracker ST Merge Setup:

In the above examples, <sp> means type a space in the inter-field
string area between the boxed field numbers.


The Registered GEMvelope!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A registered version of GEMvelope costs $30.  Through a special
arrangement with Step Ahead Software GEMvelope is only $20 for
Tracker/ST owners.  If you are a previously registered owner of
GEMvelope, the upgrade cost is $10.

The registered GEMvelope includes unrestricted program and desk
accessory versions and other files for using and setting up GEMvelope.
It also include FONTGDOS, printer drivers, and fonts (Dutch, Swiss,
and Typewriter) for most printers.
